EPCOS has developed the smallest family of triplexers worldwide, which integrate filters for cellular, PCS and GPS systems in a single component. These triplexers measure only 2 x 2.5 mm2 and are thus significantly smaller than competitor products at 3.2 x 3.2 mm2.
The triplexers, which are constructed in LTCC technology, are RoHS-compatible and offer very good values of insertion loss for all three bands: typically 0.7 dB for cellular systems, 0.65 dB for PCS and 1.35 dB for GPS. The components are available in three different LGA pin configurations (B9100, B9101 and B9102), thus assuring maximum flexibility for customers.
