The S-parameters for simulating EPCOS’ current portfolio of ceramic capacitors are now available. The data was created in the CITI-file and Touchstone formats. The new S-parameters are for series and parallel circuits and may be downloaded free of charge under www.epcos.com/tools.
In addition, graphical representations of the impedance curves for C0G, CPPS, X7R, X5R and HQF materials are also offered in PDF format. The curves represent the typical behavior of the individual component, but do not contain the effects resulting from a changed temperature and other voltage conditions at the capacitor. These may be derived from the specifications in the data sheets.
