EPCOS is the first manufacturer of ceramic capacitors to offer High-CV types rated at 1 μF / 50 V and made of X7R material in size 0805 for the special demands of the automobile industry. The X7R ceramic material developed by EPCOS is the basis of the rugged design of the High-CV capacitors, which satisfy AEC-Q200 criteria and the pulse strength requirements of ISO 7637. New products include types rated at 100 nF in size 0603, and 220, 330 and 470 nF in size 0805.
