For compact frequency converters in the power class up to about 40 kW, EPCOS now offers space-saving MKP link circuit capacitors of the DC Link HD series (B3277*) with a high capacitance density. With the CombiSuppressor in the B32529-V (RM 5) and B32521-V (RM 10) series EPCOS has developed an innovative solution for EMI suppression in DC motors in motor vehicles. The CombiSuppressor comprises a film capacitor and a multilayer ceramic varistor connected in parallel in a plastic case.  more

EPCOS launched the new series of X2 capacitors covering the upper capacitance range from 1.0 to 10 μF. They are particularly suited for applications such as filters, drives and UPS that require large capacitance values. In addition, the new compact C and D versions now extend the X2 range with types rated at 10 nF to 1.0 μF. Dimensions vary with capacitance from 4 x 9 x 13 mm (for 10 nF) to 12 x 22 x 26.5 mm (for 1.0 μF). EPCOS thus offers some of the smallest X2 capacitors worldwide.  more

New types covering the capacitance range from 5 to 60 µF have been added to the EPCOS line of four-pin link circuit capacitors operating on voltages from 250 VDC (180 VAC) to 850 VDC (350 VAC). The capacitors are equipped with four terminal wires as standard, whose spacing varies with case size.  more

The EPCOS line of snubber capacitors for IGBTs has been considerably extended and now covers the voltage range from 850 to 2000 VDC and the capacitance range from 47 nF to 2.5 µF.  more
