Involved in the procurement of goods and services such as equipment, tools, spare parts and services to ensure uninterrupted supply at optimum cost, and within established company policies and guidelines
Oversee and execute contractual agreements, purchase orders and negotiations with suppliers to ensure best price as well as reliable supply and service support
Involve in supplier evaluation, scrap bidding, reporting and other cost improvement activities
Education requirements
Diploma/ degree in business/ mechanical engineering
Requirements
Diploma with 8 years relevant working experience or degree with at least 3 years procurement/ purchasing working experience
Experience in capital equipment purchase and contract negotiation preferred
Familiarity with SAP system and MS office would be an added advantage
Good problem-solving and interpersonal negotiation skills
