You will work with the corporate IT team to pilot and roll out new infrastructure initiatives to the regions; provide on-going support and offer level I and II technical assistance to IT staff in the regions.
In addition, you will establish procedures to facilitate better support arrangement; conduct audit to ensure policies and guidelines are complied with; map out training roadmap for IT staff in the regions.
You will also negotiate, maintain and review hardware, software and telecommunication service maintenance contract to ensure proper coverage; implement and ensure disaster recovery plan and business continuity plan are put in place in all locations.
Education requirements
Degree in computer science or equivalent
Requirements
Minimum 5 years regional management experience in infrastructure support
Strong competencies in LAN, WAN, active directory, MS exchange, antivirus software (TrendMicro), lotus notes, network shaping and monitoring, IT security, switches, firewall, etc.
Good aptitude for support work, initiative and analytical skills
Knowledge in data communication and experience in running a regional helpdesk will be a distinct advantage
