Responsible for providing engineering support and technical know-how to wafer fab
Lead an engineering team to deliver yield, output, cycle time, and uptime and costs targets; evaluate and purchase appropriate equipment for selective wafer trimming and develop the right methodology and process; evaluate and implement new materials to achieve lower manufacturing costs and improve product quality
Plan, organise and co-ordinate the installation and buy-off of new equipment/ process and ensure operations efficiency
Actively pursue rationalisation projects to improve yield, productivity and costs
Support and be responsible for EHS, QM and 5S projects assigned as well as synergise engineering activities between support groups
Education requirements
Degree in electronics/ electrical/ microelectronics/ materials engineering
Requirements
Have experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing with at least 3 years in a similar capacity
Have strong leadership qualities and be able to manage processes well and drive project teams in achieving performance goals set
Be dynamic, resourceful and self-motivated; and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Possess good statistics and computer modelling knowledge, and project management experience
