High-current SMD power inductor for automotive applications

TDK-EPC Corporation, a group company of TDK Corporation, completed development of the SPM6530-H SMD power inductor series with an extended temperature range. The new TDK power inductors are now rated for temperatures of up to 125 °C and currents up to 28.5 A.

Film capacitors

Compact AC capacitors up to 75 μF

TDK-EPC, a group company of the TDK Corporation, presents a new series of EPCOS MKP AC capacitors with a capacitance range from 2 to 75 μF and radial terminals for PCB mounting. The B3279* series of output filter capacitors features types for voltages up to 400 V AC and can be used in a wide range of output filter modules.

RF components in DSSP technology

A new dimension in miniaturization

With innovative die-sized SAW packaging technology DSSP^® from EPCOS, TDK drives miniaturization of RF filters and duplexers. These components are up to 85 percent smaller than the first generation CSSP^® products.

Reference designs

Lamp ballast for LED street lighting

TDK-EPC has joined STMicroelectronics to develop a reference design for LED lamp ballasts for use in street lighting. TDK-EPC offers all the required key passive components.

Power capacitors for traction converters

On the fast track

TDK-EPC is supplying power capacitors from EPCOS for the Velaro high-speed trains that Siemens is building for the Chinese state railroad. They will be used in the absorption circuits of the traction converters.
