Multinational household appliance manufacturer Whirlpool has given EPCOS India its Best Supplier Award for the first time. The deciding factors were the company’s outstanding performance on quality, prompt delivery and customer service.

EPCOS India has been one of Whirlpool India’s preferred suppliers since 2000, and already won the Best Innovation Award back in 2001. EPCOS supplies the appliances vendor with motor run capacitors for use in its washing machines.

Whirlpool is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of household appliances. Its brands Amana, Bauknecht, Brastemp, Consul, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid and Maytag generate annual sales of around EUR 13 billion. Whirlpool employs about 70,000 people and operates a network of around 70 production facilities and development centers worldwide.
