Huawei Technologies has honored TDK-EPC China as one of its best and most important suppliers. The Core Supplier Award 2009 was presented for excellent performance on product and service quality, technological competence, sales and pricing.

"This is a very important distinction for us. Huawei is our biggest customer in China," says Michael Pocsatko, President & CEO of EPCOS Greater China.

TDK-EPC supplies the Shenzhen-based telecom equipment manufacturer with surge arresters, ceramic capacitors, film capacitors, inductors, thermistors and varistors, plus a series of SAW filters for use in mobile communication applications. At the same time, business with radio-frequency modules is becoming more important.
