Modular stackable U-cores for flexible large designs
TDK Corporation has developed a new kind of ferrite core: EPCOS stackable U-cores feature a unique modular ferrite design that offers flexibility and economy for high-voltage transformer and HF filter applications.
TDK Corporation has extended its range of EPCOS MKK power capacitors. The new MKK DCi-R series B25640* with resin impregnation is based on the proven MKK DC series with gas impregnation and MKK DC-I with oil impregnation.
LCL filters for recuperative frequency converter systems
TDK Corporation presents a new series of EPCOS LCL filters (B84143*405) for recuperative frequency converter systems. These high-performance filters consist of a power choke, a capacitor bank with damping resistors and a robust choke.
EPCOS power factor controllers allow complex PFC tasks to be carried out fully automatically. They also ensure that the capacitors switch with minimum wear and can measure a wide range of data at the same time.
Power utilities are rolling out smart meters in order to enable automated meter reading and optimized energy management. The X2 capacitors from the EPCOS B3293* heavy duty series of film capacitors are well suited as they operate reliably.
